==Birth== Based on census data, he was born between 6 Aug 1766 and 1 Jun 1770. His place of birth and parents' are unknown at this time. He appears as a single adult male named Peleg Allen in the 1790 census of Rensselaerville.
==Occupation== Farmer
==Marriage & Children== His wife' name was Mary, probably Mary Lobdell, but that has yet to be confirmed. Their children were Abijah, Amanda, Ann, Francis, Peleg, James and Jehial.
==Residences== On 24 Nov 1794, Peleg bought land in Onondaga County, NY from Abner French. In 1797, he sold a portion of this land to Peter Morse. The land became part of Cayuga County when it was formed. The remainder of his land was sold to William Snider in 1819. Soon afterward, Peleg and his family moved to Posey County, Indiana.
==Death== He died between 1 June 1830 and 23 Oct 1830 in Posey County, Indiana.
