In 1870 Charity lists herself as the housekeeper for Richard Fryer of Guilderland, along with her husband Bernard as a farm laborer.
Marriage & Children
Charity married Bernard Hurst. They had two natural children:
- a son, died after only a few days.
- Ella Charity Hurst who married Charles Avery Warner.
Charity and Bernard also adopted Charity's niece Anna.
Death
The only information on Charity's death is a letter from Ivah Warner from 1970 stating "Grandmother Hurst died when Editha was about nine, which would be 1912. She died at Font Grove, NY
