Nathaniel Wright was born in Berne on December 13, 1834 to [[Alvah Wright]] (B. Mar 25, 1810, D. Mar 5, 1877) and [[Anna Maria Moak]] (B. ==Life==
Nathaniel Wright was born and raised in Berne, and was the eldest of twelve children. In 1850, his father [[Alvah Wright]] was a miller but later censuses record him as a laborer and as a farmer. In 1860 the family was living in Middleburgh, Schoharie County, NY, however they had returned to Berne by 1865.

==Death==
Nathaniel Wright died on February 5, 1865 of diarrhea while a prisoner of war in Salisbury, NC.<ref name="Carnival"/>
