Channing Swart was born in 1877 to [[John Henry Swart]] and [[Mary Frances Lincoln]].

==Occupation==
In 1901, Channing was a teacher in [[Tan Hollow]].<ref>[[Altamont Enterprise]], September 13, 1901.</ref>

==Marriage & Children==
On March 5, 1905, Channing married [[Ethel Jane Stanton]], a daughter of [[DeWitt Stanton]] and [[Emily Jones]], in [[Dormansville]]. They had two children who they raised in [[Dormansville]]:

*Beatrice Swart
*[[Frances Emily Swart]]

==Death==
Channing died in October 1958. He is buried in Greenville Cemetery in nearby Greene County, NY.
