Brandt performed the ceremony. Miss Marie-Estelle Ferrante of Solvay was maid of honor. Ronald Stevens was best man for his brother. Ushers were Bradford Stevens, brother of the bridegroom, and Roger Van Wormer, Knox. After a reception at Tall Timber Country Club, the couple left on a wedding trip to Bermuda. They will live at 2 Grandview Dr., Voorheesville. The bride is a graduate of Bethlehem Central High school and State University in Albany. She will begin teaching mathematics in the fall at Guilderland Central Junior High school. Her husband is a graduate of Berne-Knox Central school and attended State Agricultural and Technical Institute at Cobleskill. KNOX — Megan Lizabeth Stevens of Knox Cave Road, daughter of Robert Stevens of Knox Cave Road and the late Bonnie Stevens, is engaged to James Joseph Murphy of Rosena Drive, Wynantskill, son of James and Anne Murphy of Rosena Drive.

The bride, a graduate of Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School, is a candidate for May graduation from Siena College with an English major, concentrating in marketing.

The groom, a graduate of LaSalle Institute in Troy, is a 1998 graduate of Siena, with a joint history-education major. He teaches at Watervliet High School.
