He married at about 1789, Maria Lainhart who was born in 1762, a daughter of Michael Lainhart and Maria Woerster. They had the following known children:

*Maria Quackenbush b. 1801
*Elizabeth Quackenbush b. 1805

==Death==
Jacob died between September 17, 1822 and March 1, 1823. Mary died on January 27, 1836.

The burial record for Maria Lainhart Quackenbush that was transcribed by Brinkman is in error. Maria was not 82 years old at the time of her death. 

LDS mislabeled some church records with the wrong church. The records for Princetown were actually the Helderburg Reformed Church
