Cyrus B. After June 1, 1855, Cyrus married [[Emma Smith]] (B. 1834, D. 1916), who was the daughter of [[Asa Smith]] and [[Eva Warner]], and the widow of [[William Wilday]] (B. 1825, D. ==Life==
Cyrus Ostrom is remembered for having kept a huge pine log trough in front of the Reinhart hotel filled with small minnows in the spring and summer to be used for bait for fishing.<ref name="Bernehistory"/> In 1860 he was living in East Berne and working as a blacksmith.<ref name="1860Census"/> He and his wife had her daughter [[Mariah Wilday]] (B. abt Mar 6, 1853, D. Nov 6, 1882)and their two young children living with them.<ref name="1860Census"/>
