Isaac B. McNary was born in Jan 1841<ref name="1900 Census">1900 census, Guilderland, Albany Co., NY</ref> in Berne, Albany County, NY, the son of Elijah and Sally Martha Barton McNary.

==Occupation==
Isaac was a farmer. When his parents and most the rest of his family removed to Albany, Isaac remained in Berne and continued farming until he retired to Guilderland Center at about 1900.

==Marriage & Children==
Isaac married Elma Celia Hungerford the daughter of [[Alexander Hungerford]] and Mary Van Schaick on 12 Feb 1870 in the Second Reformed Church, Berne, Albany Co., NY. Elma was born on 11 Aug 1848 in Berne, Albany County, NY, USA. She was christened in Nov 1848 in the Second Reformed Church, Berne, Albany Co., NY. She died on 18 Jan 1929 in Delmar, Albany Co., NY. She was buried in the Guilderland Cemetery, Guilderland Center., Albany Co., NY.
Isaac and Elma had the following children:
*Mary B. McNary was born on 22 Sep 1871 in Berne, Albany Co., NY. She was christened on 1 Jun 1872 in Second Reformed Church, Berne, Albany Co., NY. She died in Jan 1959 in NY. She was buried in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland, Albany Co., NY. Mary married [[Irvin E. Oliver]] the son of John Oliver and Lavinia Dyer on 2 May 1893 in Albany Co., NY. Irvin was born on 2 Oct 1868 in NY. He died on 3 Sep 1940 in NY. He was buried in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland, Albany Co., NY.
*Eva E. McNary-339 was born on 8 Aug 1874 in Berne, Albany Co., NY, USA. She was christened on 2 Jun 1877 in Second Reformed Church, Berne, Albany Co., NY. Eva married Elmer Ostrander about 1893 in Albany Co., NY. Elmer was born in Aug 1871 in Albany Co., NY. He died between 1920 and 1930 in Schenectady, Schenectady Co., NY. It has not been learned when Eva died.
*Ira B. McNary-340 was born on 30 Mar 1881 Albany County, NY. He died on 30 Jun 1930 in Delmar, Albany Co., NY. He was buried in Bethlehem Cemetery, Delmar, Albany Co., NY. Ira married Blanche Perry at about 1901. Blanche was born in 1882. She died on 17 Apr 1975 in Saratoga Co., NY. She was buried in Bethlehem Cemetery, Delmar, Albany Co., NY.

Isaac McNary died in 1926 in Delmar, Albany Co., NY. He was buried in the Guilderland Cemetery, Guilderland Center, Albany Co., NY. His wife Elma died on 18 Jan 1929 in Delmar, Albany Co., NY. She was buried in the Guilderland Cemetery beside her husband.
