On June 4, 1820 he married Hannah Babcock who was born on February 11, 1799 in Berne<ref name="Bernehistory">bernehistory.org</ref>, a daughter of James Babcock<ref name="Will of James Babcock">Will of James Babcock, Albany County Wills, Book 12, page 54</ref>. Their known children:
