Pryce Campbell was born in Scotland in 1738, a son of William Campbell<ref name="Scottish Immigrants"> Dictionary of Scottish Emigrants to the U.S.A" by Donald Whyte </ref>. His known sibling was:
*Alexander Campbell who was born at about 1740 in Scotland. <ref name="Scottish Immigrants"/>

==Marriage & Children==
In 1774, he married Margaret Clark who was born about 1756 in Berkshire Co., MA. <ref name="Scottish Immigrants"> Dictionary of Scottish Emigrants to the U.S.A" by Donald Whyte </ref> Their children:
*Alexander Campbell was born in 1776; died in 1832<ref name="Scottish Immigrants"/>He had surviving children; Alexander Campbell, Caroline Campbell Reynolds, Price Campbell, Cordelia Campbell, Charlotte Campbell, and Sally Campbell.
*Margaret Campbell was born on February 1, 1778. She married John Boardman on November 23, 1797, a son of John Boardman and Lydia Dean. She died March 22, 1857<ref name="Scottish Immigrants"/>
*William Campbell born in 1779; died in 1869<ref name="Scottish Immigrants"/>
*Elizabeth Campbell born in 1783.<ref name="Scottish Immigrants"/>She married Thomas Gray
*Stephen Campbell born in 1785<ref name="Scottish Immigrants"/>
*Hugh Campbell born in 1788<ref name="Scottish Immigrants"/>
