==Marriage & Children==
In about 1911, Luella married [[Frank Arthur Wright]], who owned a farm in the town of [[Berne]].<ref name="Bernehistory"/> On April 9, 1922, Luella had their only child, [[Florence Grace Wright]].<ref name="Bernehistory"/>

==Occupation==
Luella was a farmer's wife as such she performed many farm chores and as well she was responsible for her home and family. There are several photographs of her operating farm equipment.<ref name="photos">Wright family photos from Wright family farm, Berne, NY</ref>

==Life==
Luella was raised by her paternal grandparents in Rensselaerville. While she was separated from her mother and sisters, they apparently saw each other frequently.

She married at 21 years of age to a farmer in Berne. As a farm wife, she actively took part in the farm chores including using farm equipment to plant and harvest.<ref name="photos"/> The family raised chickens which added to her chores.<ref name="photos"/> She canned vegetables and fruit that the family raised.

After her paternal grandfather Amaziah Bassler died in 1912, her paternal grandmother Mary Crippen Bassler came to live with Luella and her husband. Mary continued to live with them until her death September 25, 1917.<ref name="photos"/>

Luella attended [[St. Paul's Lutheran Church]] in Berne.<ref name="LuellaObit"/>

Luella and her husband Frank grew dinner plate dahlias.<ref name="photos"/>

Luella and Frank traveled extensively generally within the local area, as they enjoyed nature and photography.<ref name="photos"/>

==Death==
On December 22, 1964, Luella Bassler Wright died and was buried at [[Woodlawn Cemetery]], in [[Berne]], Albany County, NY.<ref name="Woodlawn">Woodlawn Cemetery Gravestones, Bernehistory.org</ref><ref name="Bernehistory"/> Her husband [[Frank Arthur Wright]] died two years later on May 7, 1966.<ref name="Bernehistory"/><ref name="Woodlawn"/> The couple have a joint gravestone.<ref name="Woodlawn"/>

''Mrs. Frank A. Wright of Berne R.D.1 died Tuesday afternoon after a long illness. Mrs. Wright, the former Luealla Bassler,was born in Rensselaerville, and had been a resident of Berne for 53 years. She was a member of [[St. Paul's Lutheran Church]]. Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband; a daughter Mrs. Willam Flagler of Berne; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Phillips of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Verta Abeel of Rochester, and Mrs. William Wallace of Guilderland; also by four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Applebee Funeral Home, Delmar, with Rev. James D. Keller of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Berne."
