Coleman Armstrong was born in [[Knox|Knox]] on March 22, 1837, the son of '''[[James Armstrong]]''' (1811-1884) and Sarah Tygert (1815-1854).

Coleman was a farmer in [[Knox|Knox]].

==Marriage & Children==
Coleman married Elmina Chesebro, and had one child, Mary Armstrong, who was baptized in 1862. Mary Armstrong married Elias Babcock. According to her obituary, Mary Armstrong had a brother, Leroy Armstrong of Schenectady, and two children, Coleman Babcock, and Elmina Babcock, who was teaching school at Long Island.

Coleman died February 26, 1871.
