==Birth==
William was born near Reidsville on June 14, 1798, a son of [[ Conger, William|William Conger]] and Margaret McNab. <ref name="Bernehistory">bernehistory.org</ref>


==Marriage & Children== 
On June 4, 1820 he married Hannah Babcock who was born on February 11, 1799 in Berne<ref name="Bernehistory">bernehistory.org</ref>, a daughter of James Babcock<ref name="Will of James Babcock">Will of James Babcock, Albany County Wills, Book 12, page 54</ref>.  Their known children:
*Almira Conger was born on February 9, 1826, she married Oliver M. Hungerford<ref name="Bernehistory"/>
*Catherine Conger was born on August 4, 1822, she married Elias S. Reynolds<ref name="Bernehistory"/>
*William H. Conger was born on January 27, 1824, he married Louisa Hotaling<ref name="Bernehistory"/>
*Hannah Marie Conger was born on April 2, 1828, she married Chester Flagler<ref name="Bernehistory"/>
*James Enos Conger was born on October 14, 1830 <ref name="Bernehistory"/>
*Josephine Conger was born on March 1, 1839, she married Dr. William Morgan<ref name="Bernehistory"/>

==Death==
He died on October 5, 1869.  His wife, Hannah, died on September 14, 1879. <ref name="Bernehistory">bernehistory.org</ref>
