Obituary BERNE -- Earl L. Ryan, 70, died Thursday after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Leland and Lois Ryan. Mr. Ryan worked for 43 years for the Albany County Highway Dept., retiring as foreman in 1991. Mr. Ryan was a Korean War Army veteran. Mr. Ryan is survived by his wife, Grace Thompson Ryan; He was the father of Ruth Presti of E. Berne, Dennis E. Ryan of Reidsville, Donna M. Ryan of Clifton Park and the late Jane Ryan. He was the father-in-law of Michael Presti, Theresa and Dian Ryan. He was the brother of the late Donald Ryan. Mr. Ryan was the grandfather of James, John, Shauna and the late Renee' Presti, Daniel Ryan, Alicia Van Iderstine and Patrick Toma. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at the Applebee Funeral Home. Friends may call Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Contributions may be made to the S.
