Robert Dunbar was born in about 1839 to Albert Dunbar (B. abt 1785) and his wife.[1] Robert was one of four children.[1]

Robert married Sarah M. Crawford who was born in about 1843.[1] They had one child Albert I. Dunbar (B. 1868, D. 1916).[1]

Death
Robert's wife Sarah died first in 1904 and he followed in 1910.[1] They were both buried at the Westerlo Rural Cemetery in Westerlo.[1] When their son Albert died in 1916, he was buried with his parents at Westerlo Rural Cemetery.[1]
