Reuben Abram Hallenbeck was born in Rensselaerville on September 1, 1844, a son of Jacob Hallenbeck and Lavinia, the daughter of Jacob and Hannah Tripp. [1]

Death
Reuben received his CW pension on March 14, 1872. His widow, Adelaid, received her pension on May 14, 1896. He lived in Duanesburg at the time of his death.
