His record also states that he enlisted at Kingston, NY.[2] He was at Rensselaerville in the household with Isaac Smith in 1850. He was at Durham, Greene County in 1860. |

Died at the National Home for Disabled Volunteers at Bath, Steuben Co., NY at age 76 on July 12, 1903. Nothing further is known about his wife or where Platt is buried.
