Paul was born in Germany[1] on December 6, 1908.

Marriage and Children

Mr. Szepek married Herta Grohs and they had two daughters, Wilma and Linda; and two sons, Paul R. and Richard W. Szepek.

Occupation

Mr. Szepek was an assembly worker for more than 10 years at the Fuller Brush Co., formerly in Albany, retiring in 1973. Before that, he was a barrel roller and stacker at the Dobler Brewery, formerly in Albany.

Military Service

Paul was an Army veteran of World War II.

Death

Mr. Szepek of Manor Drive, formerly of Blue Farmer Lane, Berne, died August 8, 1993 at home after a brief illness.

Burial

Paul was buried in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Colonie, New York, on August 19, 1993.

Paul K. Szepek of Manor Drive, formerly of Blue Farmer Lane, Berne, died Aug. 8 at home after a brief illness. He was born in Germany and lived in the Capital Region most of his life before he moved to Mount Airy six months ago. Mr. Szepek was an assembly worker for more than 10 years at the Fuller Brush Co., formerly in Albany, retiring in 1973. Before that, he was a barrel roller and stacker at the Dobler Brewery, formerly in Albany. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion. Mr. Szepek was the widower of Herta Grohs Szepek. Survivors include two daughters, Wilma Krouse of Berne and Linda Gerace of Mount Airy; two sons, Paul R. Szepek and Richard W. Szepek, both of Colonie; and 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Philip J.
