Birth
Joel Bronk Cole was born in Berne Dec. 1845[1], the son of Teunis T. Cole and Caturah[2]Warner. His brother Datus J. Cole died in the war.
Marriage & Children
After 1 June 1870 he md. in New Scotland Catharine Elizabeth Flansburgh b. Apr 1852 dau. of John J. Flansburgh and Martha Sophial Silver[3]. They had a nine children.[4]. Six of the children were:[5]

- Hannah Cole b. Aug. 1881 New Scotland. She md. William L. Haswell[7]
- Morgan b. Nov. 1885
- Hattie b. Oct. 1886
- Emma b. May 1890
- Hazel A. Cole b. Dec. 1894. She md. a man named Archer.[8]
