Jacob Towsan was born in about 1836 in Westerlo.[1] The spelling of his surname varies considerably.

Jacob married Welthy M. Miller (B. 1838, D. 1918), who was the daughter of Peter Miller and Maria Willman.[1]

Death
Jacob's wife Welthy died first in 1918 and was buried at Gallupville Rural Cemetery, Town of Wright, Schoharie Co, NY.[1] Jacob Towsan died on July 24, 1925 and was buried with his wife at Gallupville Rural Cemetery.[1]
