Harvey J. Bouton was born 31 Jul 1841[1] in Rensselaerville, the son of Harry Bouton and Elizabeth (Betsy) Lincoln, a daughter of Levi Lincoln and Betsy Bouton.

- Jerome Bouton, born in 1869 and died in 1950.
Harvey married secondly, Emma Winegar born in 1850, the widow of Rufus W. Lounsbury.

Death
Elizabeth Bailey Bouton died in 1869, Harvey died in 1920. Both are buried at the Rensselaerville Cemetery. Emma died on June 23, 1938 and is buried at the Rensselaerville Cemetery.
