David A. Dougall Sr., 88, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.

Mr. Dougall was born in Schenectady, the son of the late Arthur and Nellie Dougall.

He served in the civil conservation corps and enlisted in the United States Army in 1941. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Dougall saw action as an engineer with heavy field artillery in the European Theater. He later worked as a heavy equipment operator for Local 106 in Albany.

He was the husband of the late Josephine Antalek Dougall, who died in 1977.

He is survived by three children, David A. Dougall of Diamond Point, N.Y., Susan J. Stevens of Franklin, N.J., and Paul M. Dougall of Schenectady; five grandchildren, Donna Dougall, Shannon Stevens, Patrick Dougall, Edward Stevens, and Jessica Dougall; and one greatgrandson, Marcos Reyes.

A funeral service was held Wednesday at the Fredendall Funeral Home in Altamont. Burial was in St. Cyril and Method Cemetery in Rotterdam.

KNOX — Helen F. Dougall, 82, of Township Road died Monday at the Guilderland Center Nursing Home following a long illness.

Mrs. Dougall was born Nov. 8, 1913 in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Arthur and Nellie Cutts Dougall. She moved to Delanson in 1930 and to Knox in 1942.

She worked as a payroll clerk for the General Electric Co. in Schenectady, retiring in 1977. She was the welfare officer for the town of Knox for several years. She was a communicant of St. Lucy's Church in Altamont and was a member of i s Altar Rosary Society. She was a member of the Altamont Senior Citizens.

Survivors include a brother, David Dougall of Schenectady; a sister-in-law, Pearl M. Dougall of Valatie; one niece, Susan Stevens of New Jersey; and two nephews, David Dougall of Lake George and Paul Dougall of Schenectady.

Services were this morning at St. Lucy's Church in Altamont. Burial was in Memory's Garden in Colonic Memorial contributions may be made to the Altamont Senior Citizens. Arrangements are by Fredendall Funeral Home in Altamont.

DOUGALL—GREEN ^ The marriage of Miss Edna Green, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Green of Albany, to Francis Dougall, son of Mrs. Robert Tniax of Township, took place Saturday afternoon in the rectory of St. Lucy's Church. Altamont. Rev. J. J. Daly performed the ceremony. The attendants were Miss Helen Dougall and David Dougall, sister and brother of the bridegroom. Following the ceremony, there was a reception at the Township Hotel.
