Birth
Chauncey Jones, son of Manchester Jones (B. abt 1807, D. Nov 17, 1880) and Martha Stalker (B. Apr 13, 1808, D. Jun 23, 1880), was born in about 1834 in Berne[1] and was the eldest of eleven children.[2]

Death
Chauncey died on June 8, 1874 and was buried at Reidsville Cemetery, Reidsville, Albany Co, NY.[2][4] His gravestone confirms his service in Co. C. 7th HA.[4]
