Birth

Levi was born on October 13, 1841, a son of George Jeremiah Boomhower and his wife, Elizabeth.[1] His mother is said to have died before 1850, and in 1850 Levi, at age 9, was living in Rensselaerville in a household with Philander Raymond and his wife Elizabeth.
