Palombo—May 31, (1973) Armand A. (Mondy), husband of Frances Parrotte Palompo, of 9 Sacandaga Road, Scotia; father of Monte J., Robert P., Thamos M., Nancy J., Andrew J., and Michael F. Palombo, all of Scotia; brother of Harry Palombo, of Altamont, Frank, Nicholas, and Arthur Palombo, Mr§. Frances Steele and Mrs. Edna Smith, all of Schenectady; also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral was held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at Baxter's Funeral Home, thence to St. Joseph's church, Scotia where a Mass of the Ressurrection was celebrated at 9:30 o'clock.

SCOTIA -- Frances Rita Palombo, died peacefully at her home with her family on Saturday, December 27, 2003. Mrs. Palombo was born October 21, 1930 in Dannemora, N.Y., the daughter of Frederick and Agnes (Drollette) Parrotte. Mrs. Palombo was co-owner (with her late husband) of Mondy's Delicatessen, Scotia from 1955 to her retirement in 1971. Frances was a huge garage sale enthusiast and gave unselfishly of herself to anyone in need. She was an ardent supporter of her children and grandchildren's athletic endeavors and was a former member of the Tuesday Tipplers Bowling League. She is predeceased by her husband of 24 years, Armand Palombo. Devoted mother of Monte Palombo of Auburn, N.Y., Robert Palombo, Thomas Palombo, both of Scotia, Andrew Palombo of Queensbury, Michael Palombo and Nancy Engert, both of Scotia; cherished grandmother of Christian, Stacey, Nicholas, Joseph, Amber, Brooke, Diane, Lisa, Ami, Joshua, James, Jonathan, Matthew and Kyle; loving sister of Margaret Brown of NYC, Lorraine Lewandowski of Plattsburgh, N.Y., Teresa Gribbin of Elmira, N.Y., Esther Burleigh of Plattsburgh, Jeanne O'Neill of Mich. and George Parrotte of Dannemora, N.Y.; also survived by five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, Scotia on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady. Calling hours will be in the White Funeral Home, 264 North Ballston Avenue, Scotia, Tuesday 5 to 8 p.m. Donations in her memory may be extended to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Schenectady Hospice, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308.
