Birth
Andrew J. Adams was born on April 13, 1829[1] to Seth Adams (B. May 25, 1795, D. Sept 29, 1831) and Elizabeth Lamont (B. Dec 18, 1794, D. unk).[2] He was the youngest son in a family of six children.[2] His father Seth died two years after his birth.[2]
Marriage & Children
Andrew J. Adams married Sophia Catharine Shultes on December 31, 1851 at the Reformed Church in Berne. She was the daughter of Peter William Shultes (B. March 15, 1801, D. Jan 27, 1852) and Magdalen West (B. Mar 4, 1805, D. Sept 15, 1889). Sophia had been born on June 13, 1834..[2]
Andrew and Sophia had the following children:

Death
Andrew's wife Sophia died first on January 13, 1908[1] and he followed three years later on March 6, 1911.[2]. They were both buried at the Beaverdam Cemetery in Berne, where their son Edwin Jay Adams had been buried after his death on November 8, 1880.[1]
